The untold story of the formation of Bangladesh

If you shade tears when you miss the sun

You also miss the stars

                                      -Rabindranath Tagore

After decades of formation of Bangladesh, Pakistan’s situation is not different than this. The formation of Bangladesh led to the destruction of Pakistan and has not stopped even till today, these are the consequences of these mistakes, where there four 4 Bangladesh on the verge of being formed.

Is religion more valuable than culture? In this debate, the culture won in 1971 and defeated the two-nation theory that made Pakistan. Today’s Pakistan is in a huge shock, that it is hard for Pakistan to even move on from it. It would have been possible if some efforts were made ... but if there was a motive for trying, then there would have been no need for a separate Bangladesh!

Rabindranath Tagore Vs. Allama Iqbal

The truth behind the story of how Bangladesh was formed is not hidden. Vandalism done on Bangladeshi Muslims and Hindus is a dark truth of history. The Bengalis were not considered to be Pakistani and they were ridiculed for being black Bengalis. They were never asked what the importance of Bengali language in their eyes was. Only one thought would be that a country would remain on the two-nation vision of Jinnah, even if its geographical structure did not match.

At that time the Punjabi of Punjab, Pashtun of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindhi of Sindh and Balochi Balochistan were the original languages of Pakistan. Nevertheless, the people of Western Pakistan accepted their language to Urdu, which represented only 6 percent of the people. According to the 1951 census, 4.5 million in East Pakistan (today's Bangladesh). There were millions of people who used to speak Bengali only, in contrast, Western Pakistan had 3.4 million people who used to speak 4 different languages. If seen, people who speak Bangla in entire Pakistan were in the majority population. But their behavior spoke as if East Pakistan is the colony, who had to endure the repression and ridicule of thousands of years of culture and language only in the name of Islam.

Urdu versus Bengali controversy played the biggest role in disputes of Bangladesh. But the question arises, why did not Bengali Muslims want to adopt Urdu? How did Western Pakistan accept Urdu so easily?

The Urdu language was born in Sindh province 720 A.D. It was a language that was inspired by the Persian and Arabic languages and became popular among local people of different languages, who supported the Muslim aggressors. In the last century, in the Persian language, poet Allama Iqbal, who was born in the Punjab of western Pakistan, wrote his literature in Persian, which became popular from India to Middle East Asia.

The Bengali language is the product of an Indo-Aryan culture, in which the greatest poet and Nobel Prize recipient, Rabindranath Tagore wrote compositions of his poetry. By that time, Persian and Bengali had reached the height of a better language.

Both Alamma Iqbal (1877-1938) and Rabindranath Tagore (1861-1941) live in the same era. Both are the greatest creators. The number of fans of both of them was not even short. It is natural for those fans to always discuss who is better in both of them. By the way, these two have written in different languages, so the comparison can not be possible.

Despite being such great poets, both of them never met each other in their lifetime. Iqbal never gave Rabindranath Tagore his place in his compositions. But Rabindranath Tagore used to describe Alma Iqbal as a great poet and he has also mentioned him in many places. When Tagore went to Lahore, he went to the house of  Allama Iqbal, so that he could meet a great poet. But they could not meet, Alma Iqbal was not in the city that day.

Later, the Persians (Iran), Iraq and Saudi kings praised Tagore and invited him to his country, expressing resentment on this, Iqbal wrote a letter to Persian King and warned them that the visit of Tagore, Hindus, and Persians are both Aryanic and (in possession of Arab Muslim invaders), the Iranian people can again get the dignity of their original Zoroastrian religion.

Based on some facts, it can be said that due to the non-receipt of Nobel Prize in 1913, Iqbal had hatred against Tagore in his mind. He did not like Tagore's works to be accepted in the Islamic world.

Iqbal who wrote 'Saare Jahan Se Achchha, Hindostan Hamara ....', later on, wrote, "We are Muslims, Sara Jahan Hamara ... Chino Arab Hamara ...". Later, Iqbal became one of the top few leaders in the demand for Pakistan. These leaders left no stone unturned in spreading hatred against the Hindus & congress. Because of writing in Persian, Iqbal emerged as the face of West Pakistan,

But Iqbal and his admirers' hatred towards Rabindranath Tagore must have been the same hatred of the West Pakistanis towards the Bangla-speaking people, who were hurting Bangladeshi Hindus and Muslims from time to time.

Based on the facts, it can be said that the foundation of Bangladesh was laid in 1913. The formation of Bangladesh was confirmed even before the formation of Pakistan. Pakistan had lost its sun. Seeing Jinnah and Iqbal's two-nation theory in 24 years destroying, there was resentment in the mind of Pakistan and tears of blood in their eyes. Without regard to it, Pakistan has been born from hatred. The hatred continues to flourish even today.

After that Pakistan began to move towards Islamist radicalism and began to identify the identity of Middle East Asia by erasing its identity with the Indian sub-continent culture. Later, they gave names Ghori, Ghazni to their Missiles. Start writing false history in their textbooks. Mohammed Bin Qasim became a children's hero. This formation of Bangladesh has resulted in the ruthless crushing of everyone’s demand and their basic rights in Pakistan. As a result, more than 4 parts of Pakistan are on the verge of being formed.

A few days ago Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan made a tweet.

Imran believes that the quoted words in this tweet are written by Khalil Gibran. Those words were written by Rabindranath Tagore. He was asked by some Twitter fans to correct this mistake, but he still does not react to this. Only Imran knows if it is by mistake or knowingly; But if it has been deliberately done, then the new Pakistan has the same old poisonous mindset, and it won’t take much time for other Bangladesh to form. By denying Iqbal and Jinna's thinking, the two-nation theory attitudes are now ready to be transformed into multiple nation theories.
