वर्ल्ड बैंक द्वारा हाल ही में जारी रिपोर्ट के अनुसार भारत की विकास दर 1.5% से 2.8% के बीच रहने की संभावना जताई हैं.
इस रिपोर्ट में वर्ल्ड बैंक आगे कहता हैं कि, 1991 के अर्थव्यवस्था के उदारीकरण के फैसले के बाद यह भारत की अर्थव्यवस्था का सबसे बुरा प्रदर्शन हो सकता हैं.

पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री कैप्टन अमरिंदर सिंह ने कहा कि कुछ विशेषज्ञों ने उन्हें बताया कि, कोरोनावायरस सितंबर के मध्य में चरम पर हो सकता हैं.
